Our client, a growing and dynamic program and practice, seek an energetic, engaging, well rounded oncologist/hematologist, preferably with an interest in expanding their breast oncology program and a passion for patient centered, integrative cancer care.  The practice is located within an hour of two major cities; Washington DC and Baltimore, MD.    

The multispecialty physician practice is owned by the area's leading healthcare provider system. The practice is a long established and well regarded community based practice that offers the entire spectrum of hematology/oncology care. The practice currently consists of 4 oncologists and one nurse practitioner. One main practice location, which includes the health system's ambulatory infusion center Radiation Oncology (including Cyberknife) and Thoracic Surgery. The Center for Breast Care is located at another Health system ambulatory locations and employs 2 full time fellowship trained breast surgeons. Practice also include urology, general surgery (including fellowship trained surgical oncologists), other specialty practices and primary care.

Their cancer program is American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited; NAPBC accredited and has received numerous awards and commendations. In 2016, they became the first and only Certified Member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network and the 14th in the U.S. All physicians in the practice are MD Anderson Physicians' Network (MDAPN) certified, as are several of their other cancer specialists. Clinical trials are an important part of the practice. All of the physicians in the practice participate in long established, clinical cancer research program offering a wide spectrum of federally funded and industry sponsored clinical research studies. Their cancer program and their practice emphasize multidisciplinary care in close collaboration with their colleagues in radiation and surgical oncology.  They have an active and expanding Nurse Navigator program.

In mid-2017, they moved into a brand new, state of the art, 62,000 SF Cancer Institute. The facility has been designed to facilitate collaborative multidisciplinary care and provide a patient and family centered healing environment.

Your Practice

        • One main work site.
        • Join 4 physicians and one 1 Nurse practitioner.
        • Office hours are Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
        • Call is 1: 4-5 weeks.
        • Chemo drugs are mixed on site.
        • 2 Full time Fellowship trained Breast Surgeons available.
