The team consists of five board certified Oncologists, oncology experienced Advance Nurse Practitioners and OCN Registered Nurses with specialty training in chemotherapy administration. The all RN staff contributes to improved care and physician efficiency. The physicians have specialty expertise in benign and malignant hematology, solid tumor malignancy and post-transplant care.

Employed position offering a four day work week with a base salary starting at $450K, commensurate with experience and training.   Full benefits package includes family coverage for health and dental, life, disability, malpractice insurance, six (6) week vacation and 1 week CME, 401K retirement plan, relocation assistance.  Enjoy no sales or income tax in Alaska.

Hours:

    • Office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday.  Physician will cover 1-2 office locations
    • Call coverage: 1:5   
    • Weekend call: 3-5 patients admitted by hospitalist

Our client, in the San Joaquin Valley seeks an energetic entrepreneurial Medical Oncologist for their brand new state-of-the art facility with top-of-the-line Accelerator and premier imaging center adjacent.  Center will deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to care involving both medical oncology and radiation oncology services.  New facility opened July 2016 with radiation oncology services up and running - currently averaging 10 patients/day.

Practice Details

Projections for the first year include: 6-8 new consults per week and 1-2 new patients seen daily.

This is an opportunity to work with a superior practice for a period of two (2) years for salary based on experience, leading to a partnership in 2 years.
