Dosimetry Permanent Placement

Location: Georgia

Georgia based client seeking Board Certified Medical Dosimetrist to join their team. In this role, the Dosimetrist is responsible for charting radiation treatment plans, determining treatment dimensions, and promoting the implementation of the treatment plans for radiation therapy patients. The Dosimetrist must also perform and participate in the simulation dose computations, isodose plans, immobilization and other aspects of treatment planning for patients receiving external beam radiation therapy, and Brach therapy. Through documentation and oral communication the Dosimetrist must share coordinated key information with other members of the healthcare team, including but not limited to Radiation Oncologist, Senior Physicist, Nursing, and Radiation Therapist. Equipment used: Eclipse treatment planning system, Varian Clinac IX. Dosimetrist must know how to plan IMRT, Rapid Arc, SBRT, and SRS and experienced with Varian Software and be familiar with RTOG protocols. Please note, this is an onsite, fulltime position. Experience:  Minimal of 3-5 years clinical experience in dosimetry.

Location: New York

Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to join a dynamic organization. Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Medical Physics, Senior Dosimetrist and the Radiation Oncology Manager of the Regional Cancer Program, the medical dosimetrist generates radiation calculations and dose distributions as directed by the radiation oncologist and the Chief of Medical Physics.  The dosimetrist also assists the medical physicists with patient measures, beam modifying devices and other specific on-site or remote projects as assigned.
