About the Senior Radiation Therapist Role
This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities. You’ll mentor therapists, support treatment accuracy, and contribute to process and quality improvements across the radiation oncology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, accurate radiation treatments and support simulation/localization workflows
- Mentor therapy staff and support competency development
- Promote teamwork, communication, and professional conduct
- Assist with quality initiatives, workflow audits, and process improvements
- Model exceptional patient communication and experience standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
- Five years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Eligible for ARRT license & Nevada Radiation Control Program license
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
