Senior Radiation Therapist – Under minimal supervision of Radiation Oncologists and Chief Radiation Therapists, this role is responsible for accurately delivering radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise beam alignment, and maintaining strict adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy with a high level of accuracy and care
- Maintain detailed treatment records in electronic medical systems
- Interpret computerized treatment plans and perform basic dose calculations
- Mentor and train new therapists and students
- Support equipment and patient care quality assurance
- Assist in mold fabrication, block cutting, and simulation procedures
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- ARRT certified and state licensed
- Minimum 7 years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist
