Julie works extensively nationwide to provide healthcare professionals with intermediate and long-standing recruiting solutions in accordance with individual physicians, large group practices, academic medical centers, cancer centers, governmental and hospital clients. In conjunction with her broad range of recruit and client interactions, Julie possesses more than 25 years of management experience highlighted by relationship building, product and account management, and a broad range of successful professional placements. Julie recognizes the critical leadership skills necessary for organizational success, the importance of clinical and financial outcomes, and the need for cultural fit. Julie’s expertise is uniquely sustained by her attention to detail, her work ethic, her integrity, and her determination to provide candidates and clients with the tools and experience to succeed.Julie is the CEO of Cancer CarePoint, Inc., a nationally recognized firm dedicated to oncology-specific recruiting since 1994.
With more than 27 years of healthcare experience and 25 years in the oncology-specific recruiting industry, Julie has developed an expertise in the placement of physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, and nurses into institutional leadership, clinical and clinical faculty positions. After founding Cancer CarePoint in 1994 as a woman-owned operation, the firm grew through conduct of literally hundreds of assignments and searches each year for clients throughout the country. Julie’s commitment to managing all aspects of the search process through client defined needs, including candidate recruitment, interviewing and negotiations, has resulted in Cancer CarePoint achieving top retention rates among placed candidates. Knowledgeable about current trends in the oncology industry for hospitals and clinical staff alike, Julie delivers exceptionally qualified candidates. Additionally, in her role as Director, she effectively merges her extensive management and healthcare expertise to successfully identify and evaluate the skills and competence of the healthcare executive.
When she is not working, Julie enjoys hosting dinner parties and testing new food creations for her family and friends. After all, her motto is “if it doesn’t turn out we’ll order pizza!”
Julie is originally from Michigan and has also lived in San Francisco and loves to travel. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband Ty and has two bonus teenage daughters, Taylor and Skylar.
Melody Cristo, CPC, Direct Hire Consultant
Melody Cristo, an experienced physician recruiter providing services exclusively to the health care industry for more than 22 years, demonstrates a proven track record in physician recruitment. She leverages her extensive industry knowledge to build lasting relationships with candidates and clients, offering an informed perspective on the healthcare job market and hiring trends.
Prior to joining Cancer CarePoint in 2013, Melody held roles of progressive responsibility within a nationally recognized Physician Staffing Firm, where she led her division with visionary growth. She prides herself on being highly skilled in negotiating contracts with physician and health systems to ensure optimal satisfaction for her customers. She is now back to her recruiting roots with Cancer CarePoint and is poised to provide creative recruiting strategies to find the right fit for both the client and the physician, of which she serves.
Melody proves her commitment to excellence, a lifetime of learning and adherence to the highest code of ethic by earning her CPC designation, which is the highest professional designation a recruiter can attain. Additionally, she presently serves on the Board of Directors as an Executive Committee member for the National Association of Personnel Services, the oldest credentialing body and educator dedicated to the recruiting and staffing industry.
Outside the office, Melody can be found swimming, experimenting with new recipes, hanging with her family or traveling to any new place, in search of adventure.
Margaret Hall, Hematology and Medical Oncology Physician Recruiter and Business Developer
Margaret has been in the recruiting industry since 2008, working with physicians, primarily in locum tenens opportunities. She is Cancer CarePoint’s Medical Oncology locum tenens recruiter and client liaison, obtaining client needs and finding the right physician to meet the need. With an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s in social work, Margaret honed her listening, understanding and compassion skills in her previous career, working as a psychotherapist in facilities and private practice. And while she is no longer a healthcare provider herself, she likes to know that she is still being helpful and providing care through her interactions with, and placement of physicians who care for those with cancer.
When she’s not working, Margaret enjoys listening to music and seeing live shows, plays and attending happenings around Atlanta. And, with so many good restaurants around, eating and then walking it off on the Beltline (Atlanta’s big sidewalk that wraps around the city).
LaQueshette Morris-Whitlock, Nursing, Medical Physics & Dosimetry Recruiter
LaQueshette “Q” Morris-Whitlock is Cancer CarePoint’s Nursing, Advanced Practice Providers, and Allied Health locum tenens recruiter. LaQueshette has been a proud member of the CCP team since 2005; she is a dedicated team member and always willing to lend a helping hand. LaQueshette is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor in Managerial Science Degree. With over 10 years of customer service experience, LaQueshette brings a skill set filled with productive interaction and a true ability to uncover individual pursuits that can be matched to meet their specialized needs. LaQueshette is known for establishing lasting relationships with her recruits, lending a listening ear, and understanding her recruit needs.
When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, and event planning; she is also a foodie and enjoys checking out old and new restaurants in and around the city.
Christina Muffoletto, Business Development Marketer, Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens Division
Christina Muffoletto is a graduate of SUNY Oswego where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Marketing. She has been working within the medical staffing industry in Business Development Marketing for over 23 years. She has extensive experience partnering with clients including private practices, group practices, free standing facilities, hospitals and large health systems to assist them with their temporary medical provider staffing challenges. Christina enjoys fostering these long-term relationships with clients through effective communication, accessibility and integrity. She joins Cancer CarePoint as Business Development Marketer for Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens division.
Outside the office, Christina enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events, concerts and seeking new travel adventures.
Sarah Roe, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Allied Health & Nursing
Sarah Roe is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Marketing. After serving as a marketing director with a physical therapy firm in Florida, she joined the Cancer CarePoint team in 1997 tasked with the role of establishing the Medical Oncology Division. Since that time, she has assisted hundreds of clients nationwide with their recruitment needs as well as played an active role in the development of additional services lines including Allied Health and Nursing.
Her active management philosophy of servicing client relationships identifies issues in the client recruiting process before they become problems that threaten the viability of the client’s business and their potential recruits. More than 23 years since beginning her partnership with Cancer CarePoint, Sarah proudly continues to contribute to the firm’s reputation for delivering recruiting solutions of the highest quality and continuity in the Allied Health marketplace.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys hiking with her two dogs, biking, cooking healthy meals and traveling.
Armanda Vernon, Radiation Oncology Recruiter
Armanda Vernon brings a combination of a strong finance, data entry, customer service, order fulfillment skills and a knack for being an impactful cross functional team player. It is this cross-functional approach and drive that have elevated her position at Cancer CarePoint, Inc. to Radiation Oncology Recruiter where she continuously delivers superior results through her recruiting efforts and assignment fulfillment.
Armanda attended Georgia State University majoring in Accounting and Business. Her finance, data entry, customer service, and order fulfillment expertise was developed through prior positions in governmental administration, banking, productivity sourcing, consumer communications fields where she often provided resolution of escalated/sensitive customer complaints through verbal or written contact and managed incoming and outgoing communication.
Armanda takes great pride in her ability to quickly learn the process in a new situation, identify opportunities for improvement, and successfully implement a solution which saves the company time, money, and resources. Armanda’s finance, data entry, customer service, and order fulfillment experience allows her to build strong business relationships with CCP’s Recruits and Clients in the field of Radiation Oncology always keeping their specific needs in mind. When she’s not serving Cancer CarePoint recruits, Armanda enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, drawing, music, and travel.
Mignon Young, Direct Hire Consultant
Mignon Young has been with Cancer CarePoint since 1997. She serves as a consultant for direct-hire. She is responsible for business development, cultivating client relations, and matching the “right fit” of qualified professionals with rewarding job opportunities. Mignon’s success stems from her attentiveness to each client and provider in understanding their specific needs to create valuable connections. Delivering top-notch customer service is essential to Mignon.
Prior to Cancer CarePoint, Mignon worked in the legal and information technology industries as a Paralegal and Assistant Network Administrator. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Mignon’s educational background, work experience and natural insight continues to help her develop the skills and understanding needed to form and preserve enduring relationships with both clients and providers to achieve positive, long-term job placements.
When out of the office, Mignon loves spending quality time with family and friends and traveling to new and exciting places.
March Fincher, Operations Specialist & Licensing Coordinator
March Fincher has been involved in healthcare services since the age of 12, when she learned to clean and sterilize her Dad’s dental office. Through high school and beyond, she worked many years for him in front and back office, eventually becoming his only FT dental assistant. In 1990, she became employed at a community hospital, starting as an assistant to The Joint Commission survey preparation team. Her administrative services were next appreciated through several years by various hospital departments, eventually landing the position of Medical Staff Coordinator reporting directly to the hospital CEO. She became certified in the profession and has worked in medical staff services since that time in 1996. She has subsequently worked for another hospital, a government-contracting CVO for the US Army Reserve, and another Locum Tenens agency (where she started specializing in state medical board license applications). While working, she earned an Associate of Applied Technology degree in Computer Information System/Database Specialist. She feels fortunate in accepting the position of Operations Specialist & Licensing Coordinator at Cancer CarePoint in 2009, where she strives for excellence in assisting Recruits with comprehensive operations involving their assignments, hospital, and state medical board licensing affairs. She is mindful of staying current with governmental, hospital, and licensing boards requirements, risk management, and malpractice insurance issues.
March has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration degree. When not working, she enjoys time with family, motorcycle riding, documentaries, and administering medicine to cats at a no-kill shelter.
Zoanette Jordan, Operations Specialist
Zoanette Jordan serves as the Operations Specialist for the Radiation Oncology Locums Tenens Team. Her role entails preparing physicians for upcoming locum assignments by assisting with obtaining hospital privileges; arranging travel and housing logistics; and working with the hospital medical staff departments during the credentialing process.
Zoanette has been with CancerCarePoint since 2005. Prior to coming to CCP, Zoanette was with Wells Fargo Bank for 17 years in Accounts Receivable. Outside the office, she loves cooking, sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Christina Chirinos, Executive Services Administrator
Christina joined the Cancer CarePoint team in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant. While in that role, Christina proved to be a quick learner, multitasker and dedicated problem solver which led to her promotion to Executive Services Administrator. She is responsible for payroll, billing and also collaborates with the CEO on a variety of projects and processes. Christina is a cum laude graduate of American InterContinental University with a BA in Communications.
When she is not working, she loves to travel, hike and go to concerts.
