Job Description

Exciting Lifestyle Change in Eastern North Carolina Hematologist / Medical Oncologist Position If you’re in search of a more relaxed lifestyle, with the added perks of easy access to the beach and city life, your quest ends here. Our esteemed client, a well-established private practice in Eastern North Carolina boasting a 30-year legacy of excellence, is on the lookout for a Hematologist / Medical Oncologist physician to join their team. This position is based in their primary office, which also oversees a smaller satellite office located approximately 30 minutes away. You will be joining a team of 3 providers and 4 APPs, with the vision to expand to 4 physicians at the main site. Currently, they have 3 providers and 4 APPs strong, amongst other staff. This practice enjoys a stellar reputation within the community and has gained regional and national recognition for its dedication to clinical trials. Office hours are convenient, running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and they offer their physicians the flexibility to choose between a 4-day work week or an administrative day. An added plus, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Clinical Trials. For non-partner physicians, they offer a two-year contract with a guaranteed income; ranging from  range from $380K – $420K and commensurate on training and experience, along with a generous comprehensive benefits package.  After two years, a partnership track is on the table. This charming small city provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of larger urban areas. It’s an appealing choice for those seeking a more peaceful and laid-back lifestyle. You’ll appreciate the lower cost of living, pleasant weather, and the proximity to natural treasures like parks and lakes, all of which enhance the quality of life here. Despite its small size, this city is home to a diverse community and an array of religious institutions, ensuring that the spiritual needs of its residents are well-served. Plus, you’re just an hour away from an airport offering both domestic and international flights, making travel a breeze. If you’re ready to embrace a fulfilling career in a welcoming community and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle, we encourage you to explore this opportunity. They look forward to welcoming you to their team.
