Northeastern Kentucky-based Client Seeks Full-Time Hem/Onc Physician

Focus on what you love – treating patients.

With a mission of delivering innovative, comprehensive, patient-centric care within a compassionate caring environment, our client has an opening for an incoming physician to replace a departing physician in this well-established practice.

Our Kentucky-based client is actively recruiting a Medical Oncologist for their Comprehensive Cancer Centers.  The clinical staff includes board-certified medical oncologists, medical dosimetrists, radiation therapists, RNs, and a medical physicist.

On the financial side, they offer a beginning package with a significant advantage over others. It includes a salary of $500K, generous benefits, and 20% profit sharing from day one.   The profit sharing is for 2 freestanding Cancer Centers together, each equipped with radiation oncology, medical oncology, and diagnostics like PET/CT along with other revenue centers like clinical trials, oral pharmacy, and OCM (oncology care model).

You have a great deal of flexibility and independence as well as access to more senior associates/colleagues. You will also participate in the management of these Centers, and thereby, acquire management experience. You’ll have the opportunity to be volunteer faculty at several nearby medical schools. Unlike hospitals, you do not have minimum numbers to meet, and no pesky hospital administrators looking over your shoulders!

Situated in a semi-rural family-friendly setting in Kentucky.   Local schools are very good. Everything from restaurants to museums and theme parks to national parks is either available locally or within 2 hours.
