Our client, an esteemed medical oncology practice in a charming mid-size city south of Atlanta, actively seeks experienced Board-Certified Medical Oncologists to join their well-established and bustling team.  This employed position offers a wealth of growth opportunities, including the chance to take on leadership roles within the region and the practice. With a comprehensive approach to cancer care, they provide a wide range of services, including medical oncology, hematology, nutritional counseling, pain management, wellness counseling, and home health coordination. The ideal Physician Leader will possess board certification in medical oncology and demonstrate strong clinical practice skills, along with a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients. Collaborating with community physicians to establish a robust referral network will be a crucial aspect of this role. A valid Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one is required. In this role, you will enjoy regular office hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a call rotation of 1:3. The patient load comprises 60% hematology and 40% medical oncology cases, ensuring a diverse and rewarding practice. The employed position offers an attractive starting salary package of $500K, commensurate with your training and experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on quality metrics, providing further financial rewards.
