Details: Southeast Proton Center Offering Prestigious Medical Director Opportunity for BC Radiation Oncologist
Our client located in the Southeast Region seeks a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with proton therapy experience to serve as Medical Director.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, growing comprehensive cancer provider in a family-oriented community. The hired physician will lead a team of oncology professionals consisting of three radiation oncologists (including Medical Director) along with a dedicated and compassionate radiotherapy support staff of two advanced practice providers, six medical physicists, five medical dosimetrists, seventeen radiation therapists, six registered nurses, and two medical assistants.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology with ABR;
- 5+ years clinical experience;
- Proton experience mandatory;
- Leadership/Medical Directorship experience preferred, but not required;
- Committed to quality and compassionate patient care;
- Must be willing to play an active and visible role in the community;
- Help promote the practice through various community and relationship-building events.
