Our client, located near the Georgia coast, is recruiting a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist to join their breast surgical team, which will consist of two physicians. Responsibilities will consist of 80% Breast and 20% Skin & Melanoma.
The surgery program is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers (NAPBC) from the American College of Surgeons, and also carries the seal of the American College of Radiologists as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE).
Patient Load (Averages):
- New Consults per day for the group: 5 – 6
- Surgeries per day for the group : 2-3
- Follow-ups per day for the group: 11-14

- Medical Oncology
- Radiation Oncology
- Breast Cancer
- Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer
- Genitourinary (GU) Cancer
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Head and Neck Cancer
- Neuro-Oncology
- Skin/Melanoma
- Thoracic (Lung) Cancer
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Surgical Oncology
- Board-Certified in General Surgery.
- Possess or eligible for unencumbered medical license in Georgia;
- Committed to quality/compassionate patient care;
- Must be willing to play an active and visible role in the community;
- Collegial, team player;
- Help promote and build the practice through various community and relationship-building events.
