An Oregon-based healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse to provide specialized outpatient care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments. The ideal candidate is a skilled and empathetic nurse who excels in both clinical expertise and patient advocacy. Working alongside a multidisciplinary oncology team, you’ll play an integral role in coordinating treatment, managing symptoms, and supporting patients and caregivers throughout every stage of care.
Position Highlights:
- Provide specialized outpatient care for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care to promote optimal outcomes
- Administer treatments safely in accordance with oncology and infusion therapy standards
- Interpret lab results, manage side effects, and educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Serve as a patient advocate and clinical resource, supporting physicians and triaging patient needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support safe and efficient operations
- Take on leadership responsibilities as a charge nurse, preceptor, and mentor to promote professional excellence within the infusion team
